Who Should Attend:

This one-day seminar is designed for EEO/AA/Diversity, HR and Compensation Managers, Legal Counsel, Administrative Personnel and other personnel responsible for developing and monitoring AAPs and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

How You Will Benefit:

Participants will learn to write an AAP from
start to finish, including all critical statistical
analyses.  You will also learn how to set up
and maintain necessary records for applicants
and employees and prepare for governmental audits

This Seminar Provides:

  • A step-by-step, hands-on approach to writing your AAP.
  • OFCCP’s recent changes to federal AA regulations.
  • Where to find your data
  • Information on how to do the “numbers”.
  • Identification of employer policies and practices most commonly challenged during an audit.
  • Practical guidance for implementing an affirmative action program.

 

Your Instructor:  Jean Abramowski

Jean Abramowski works as an independent consultant and concentrates her work in expert solutions to Affirmative Action, EEO and Human Resources issues. She has over twenty-five years of professional and managerial experience in human resources, covering both union and non-union environments. Prior to owning her own business, Jean worked for a Wisconsin-based Employers’ Association working extensively in employment compliance matters and outplacement
