About Mike
Michael Uckele is President/CEO and owner of Uckele Health & Nutrition, Inc., a trusted leader in the formulation, development and manufacture of high quality nutrition programs and supplements for improving and maintaining good health. Under Mike's leadership as the third generation owner of the family business, Uckele Health & Nutrition has shown an annual growth average of 24% and has more than tripled the workforce from 25 to 90 employees. Mike is very aware that his employees are his most valuable resource.
A Certified Nutritionist with extensive experience in the ares of nutrition and nutritional biochemistry, Mike consults with a wide variety of clients including many in professional sports such as players in the Nation Football League, National Hockey League, National Basketball Association and professional boxing. He individually consults to improve players' overall health through nutrition, including hundreds of professional and Olympic athletes and players from teams such as The Detroit Red Wings and The Detroit Lions.
In 2011, Mike was named the Michigan Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Association for his role in driving our nation's economic growth. Mike graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Business Administration, and also holds a degree as a certified Nutritionist.
