About this Program:
Poor hiring decisions are made everyday. After all, it is difficult to learn everything about an applicant from an interview. Qualities such as stress tolerance, initiative, and creativity may be hard to spot without special training. And, if your interviewing approach is ineffective, hiring-related issues will only compound.
This course will help you understand and overcome common problems associated with interviewing. Through discussion and practice, you will learn the difference between solid behavioral-based and other interview questions, while becoming more comfortable in the role of an interviewer. Additionally, you will be exposed to methods of how to rank the candidates you interview. This workshop is designed to provide you with many ideas of how to make your interviewing process much more structured and productive.
You Will Gain an Understanding of:
- Preparing for the Interview
- Effective Interview Questions
- Legal Issues Surrounding Interviewing & Hiring
- Ways to Improve Your Skills as an Interviewer
Who Should Attend:
- Human Resource Managers
- Supervisors
- Payroll Administrators
- Business Owners
- Others with Responsibilities Under the HR Umbrella
