The cost of Health Insurance remains among the most significant cost and HR issues businesses face now and in the future.  Many employers have done all they can to control costs through changes to their health insurance plan design or by asking employees to share a greater portion of the continually increasing expense.

Wellness initiatives remain as the most viable method of long-term cost control.  While these programs have been in place at many employers for years, it is only recently that “Wellness” has reached the mainstream as a clear long-term business strategy.  This session will focus on helping attendees understand the past, present and future of “Wellness” initiatives in this county.  Emphasis will be placed on what has been tried, what has been learned and what “Wellness” will most likely look like in the next decade.
