must complete training by June 30, 2010
**PUBLIC EMPLOYERS who had a CLAIM in the years 2008 or 2009**
must complete training by December 31, 2010
Employers participating in a group rating plan who have had a workers’ compensation claim will need to complete 2 hours of mandatory safety training. This new requirement adopted by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) applies to any claim – regardless of size or severity.
