About this Program:

Social networking sites became the latest workplace distraction in 2009, and also the latest hiring and discipline danger zones.  Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc, have become the new way of connecting with others and have bridged the gap between professional and personal lives.

These networking sites have the potential to be greatly utilized as marketing tools, relationship builders, communication, and much more, however, if used appropriately, employers must be wary of legal issues that may arise.

Join us as we learn and discuss the legal aspects of social networking in the workplace!

Learning Objectives:

  • Using social media in recruiting, career development and employment branding the legal way

  • Internal & external legal risks of social media

  • Developing a social media policy for your workplace

  • And much more!
