How You Will Benefit: This comprehensive 3-day program will provide a fundamental level of knowledge applied in the field of Human Resources. Participants will have the unique opportunity to apply the knowledge they’ve learned and to practice their decision-making skills during the time between classes. Each class will include time for discussion and questions regarding the application of information from the previous class.		Who Should Attend: The Fundamentals of HR Certificate Program is designed for professionals seeking a comprehensive overview of human resources. Those who would most greatly benefit are new HR professionals, HR specialists and non-HR professionals responsible for the HR in their company.

Your Instructor: Jill Kopanis, SPHR serves as the Corporate Human Resources Director for Dynamic Dies, Inc. in Toledo, Ohio. She has been involved in the field of Human Resources for over 20 years working for companies such as Hunt Wesson/ConAgra and Wacker-Chemie of Germany. A member of SHRM, Ms. Kopanis has served as President of Toledo Area Human Resource Association (TAHRA), along with volunteering as Chapter Certification Coordinator, Certification Director for the State of Ohio Human Resource Council and was instrumental in certifying Toledo as an HRCI test site. She has served on the Human Resource Committee for Sylvania School system as well as on the Board of Directors for The Ability Center of NW Ohio. and has volunteered with the SHRM student chapter at UT. She is a graduate of the University of Toledo and earned a Masters in Organizational Leadership at Lourdes College. A speaker on several human resource topics, Ms. Kopanis has spoken at national Benefit Conferences in Dallas, Texas and Orlando, Florida enlightening her audiences with valuable information and receiving top audience ratings. She is currently co-authoring a book based on new research findings related to the glass ceiling.
